From download-to-own videos and games, and live streaming of international
sports and DishNetwork programming, DISHonline.com offers a new choice
in online entertainment.
Launched in late February, 2007 DISHonline.com is in the early phases
of release and is limited in capacity and content. As content providers
come on-board, the original vision of the site will be met.

Lowry A.F.B. - Ruined & Rebuilt
About the work:
Lowry
A.F.B, Ruined & Rebuilt is an interactive journey through the sights,
sounds and landscape of the decommissioned base in eastern Denver. As
a child I found myself frequently visiting the then active base to see
the planes and Air Force in action . Thanks to my Uncle, I was allowed
to see what many only can imagine. Juxtaposing my memories as a child
with the current landscape and redevelopment on the base, Ruined &
Rebuild acts as a historical flight over what has been the past and what
is the future of Colorado’s first Air Force Base.
Programmed using Macromedia Director, this piece is an audio interactive
work and informational component in one. Audio used in the tracks were
gathered on the base using recent sound events, and also created using
pictorial data and textual data translated into MIDI format. The creation
of each track was done through a combination of Audio Mulch, Sonic Foundry’s
Sound Forge 6.0, and Sonic Foundry’s Acid Pro 4.0.

- The Future Of Recycling
About the work:
Envirohouse was built as part of a recycling identity. This model theorizes the idea of how recycling could work on a personal level. Based on the book "Cradle to Cradle - Remaking the way we make things", By William McDonough & Michael Braungart, this is a scratch on the surface of what could be the eco-revolution of our times.
"The conflict between industry and the environment is not an indictment of commerce but an outgrowth of purely opportunistic design. The design of products and manufacturing systems growing out of the Industrial Revolution reflected the spirit of the day-and yielded a host of unintended yet tragic consequences.
Today,
with our growing knowledge of the living earth, design can reflect a new
spirit. In fact, the authors write, when designers employ the intelligence
of natural systems—the effectiveness of nutrient cycling, the abundance
of the sun's energy—they can create products, industrial systems,
buildings, even regional plans that allow nature and commerce to fruitfully
co-exist."

Up! - Waterproof Connection to YOUR world
About the work:
While not an working interactive product. Surfs Up! Is an animation of a Portable Digital Assistant designed for the active surfer.
This movie will guide you through the capabilities of Surfs Up, and provide you with information about Weather Conditions, Undertow Dangers, Great Waves. It also acts as a communication device between friends. Share Photos, Movies and Messages.
The device was designed to be water-weather-sand-salt-wind and wax proof. Able to clip onto a surfers safety leash, this is the perfect product for the surfer in your life.
